Through education, training, and technical assistance, AIPG supports States in developing or strengthening policies and practices for the prevention of genocide and other mass atrocities. Humanity in Action Fellowship

2017 Warsaw Program & Berlin International Conference

Warsaw, Poland - Berlin, Germany (May-July 2017)

The Humanity in Action Fellowship explores issues of democracy, pluralism, human rights, and social justice. The Warsaw program examines this unfolding systemic crisis, focusing in particular on hate speech and other human and minority rights challenges in Poland. The Fellowship looks at diversity in an era of growing polarization and radicalism—and offers an opportunity to engage in activism and do good while learning from the bravest and most innovative change-makers in Poland.

After four weeks, Fellows convened in Berlin to examine the rise in nationalism, populism, xenophobia and extremism in Europe and in the United States as well as strategies for responsible citizenship for the 2017 International Conference.
